Biography of Rosalyn Anstine Templeton, PHD
As a faculty member, she has developed social-emotional degrees and training programs for educators while teaching at Willamette, Bradley, Ferris State, and Marshall Universities. Rosalyn has presented teacher workshops on anger throughout the US to increase success for students at risk of failure. She has conducted research, published its results, and presented numerous papers at national and international conferences, with the desire to show educators better ways to create stress and anger-free learning environments. Rosalyn is an emeritus member of the American Education Research Association.
Rosalyn is a Board Director for the Research and Recognition Project because she is passionate about furthering research to treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) successfully and its related issues like anger. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Post Traumatic Training Institute (PTTI). She has earned the Life Space Crisis Intervention certification and has been a Senior Trainer for the Life Space Crisis Intervention Institute.
Rosalyn is the author of four books on anger for parents and teachers. She has coauthored How to Talk So Kids Can Learn at Home and in School with New York Times bestselling and award-winning authors Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish.
